at the live concert finale last friday, I was chosen as cosmopolitan’s “Fun Fearless Female Rockstar of the Year” !! yay. the band & I were treated like celebs, it was crazy : red (actually, blue) carpet & everything. cosmo has just been amazing in their support of independent artists. you can check out pics here, & here’s the video of me & the band playing our winning song (be sure to check out 5:08 when brian literally rips off his guitar, cueing the end of the song) ::

the other fun fearless females in the top three with me were beautiful and gave amazing performances – fortune 457 & alexa wilkinson – they were so fun to hang with, and I was so honored to perform with them.

cosmo narrowed down the semi-finalists in their starlaunch competition, and we’re in the top 3 !! so we’ll be opening for natasha bedingfield and solange knowles at terminal 5 in nyc on dec 5th. wow, yay. thank you to everyone for your votes – you can continue to vote and help us get the #1 spot … (meaning money, studio time, and more … )

I just found out that I’ve been chosen as one of the top 10 finalists of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s StarLaunch contest for the next “fun, fearless, female” musician – I have the chance to make it to the final three where I’d get to open up for Natasha Bedingfield & Solange Knowles, hosted by MTV’s Damien Fahey, at a concert in nyc on dec 5th.
