the show at friday night in nyc was amazing, thanks to the canal room for being a beautiful venue, cosmo, nysc & q104.3’s jonathan clarke for being beautiful hosts, and alexa wilkinson and bess rogers for playing beautiful sets.

Cosmopolitan Magazine and the New York Songwriters Circle are celebrating my contest wins with me & the band at our Canal Room show this friday night. Q104.3FM’s Jonathan Clarke is hosting the show, and Bess Rogers & co-StarLaunch-ee Alexa Wilkinson will also be there. this show is going to be amazing. I really hope you can make it out.

what a fun time last night, the show was amazing, great crowd – just love playing rockwood. my friend sarah versprille was gonna to join me to sing, but unfortunately, a plane in the hudson prevented her from making it in from jerzy (man sarah, if I had a nickel for every time I heard that excuse … ). my other buddy dan torres did make it, and jumped on stage with his voice & a snare drum for the end of the set.

this is from a loft concert in brooklyn that I did with the lovely sybarite chamber players. matt o’malley arranged the song for strings; robbie mitchell shot the video; and their org sopo productions was responsible for the beautiful night.

my producer/friend/guitarist brian cassagnol unfortunately couldn’t make it that night, but I wonder if, upon hearing his synth string production transformed into the real thing, this would be the result.

at the live concert finale last friday, I was chosen as cosmopolitan’s “Fun Fearless Female Rockstar of the Year” !! yay. the band & I were treated like celebs, it was crazy : red (actually, blue) carpet & everything. cosmo has just been amazing in their support of independent artists. you can check out pics here, & here’s the video of me & the band playing our winning song (be sure to check out 5:08 when brian literally rips off his guitar, cueing the end of the song) ::

the other fun fearless females in the top three with me were beautiful and gave amazing performances – fortune 457 & alexa wilkinson – they were so fun to hang with, and I was so honored to perform with them.
